Terms of service
These terms govern your use of the Nestdose iOS application and related services provided by StockGorilla LLC ("we," "us," or "Nestdose"). By downloading or using Nestdose, you agree to these terms.
What Nestdose is
Nestdose is a medication reminder and record-keeping app. It lets you enter the medications a prescriber has already ordered, choose the times those doses are due, delivers local notifications at those times, and records whether each dose was taken, skipped, or missed. The app can share this record with family members you invite.
What Nestdose is not
Nestdose does not provide medical advice. It does not recommend doses, suggest schedules, check for drug-drug interactions, warn about allergies, or offer any form of clinical guidance. All content in the app is entered by you or by family members you've invited. Decisions about which medications to take, when to take them, and how much to take must be made with your prescribing provider and pharmacist. Nothing in Nestdose replaces that relationship.
Nestdose is not a medical device, a diagnostic tool, or a therapeutic intervention. It is a reminder.
Who may use Nestdose
Nestdose is for adults (18+) managing medications for themselves or for an adult family member they help. Parents or legal guardians may use Nestdose to manage medications for a child under 18 in their care; in that case the parent is the user and is responsible for the entries.
If you set up Nestdose on behalf of another adult, you must have their permission to record their medications and share their schedule with other family members.
Free and paid tiers
The person taking the medication uses Nestdose for free, with no advertisements, no caps on medications, and no feature gating. The Family plan subscription ($29.99 USD per year, or $3.99 per month, or $79.99 one-time for lifetime access — pricing may vary by region) is required for family members (caregivers) who want to see the person's schedule on their own phone, log doses on their behalf, or receive missed-dose notifications.
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store and are governed by Apple's terms. Cancellations, refunds, and billing disputes are handled by Apple. See the support page for details.
Your account and data
Nestdose has no user accounts and no password. All of your content lives in your own iCloud private database. You can delete your data at any time by removing the app and purging the CloudKit container (see the privacy policy for exact steps).
Family sharing
When you invite a family member to a Nestdose circle, you are sharing medication information with them. You are responsible for choosing who gets access and for revoking access when it is no longer appropriate.
Each role (Owner, Helper, Viewer) grants specific capabilities as described in the app. Changing a member's role or removing them takes effect immediately on your device and propagates to their device the next time their app syncs.
No warranty
Nestdose is provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best to make reminders fire reliably — that is the entire point of the app — but we cannot guarantee that every reminder will fire at the exact scheduled time on every device under every condition. iOS Focus modes, Low Power Mode, cellular dead zones, iCloud outages, and user settings can all affect delivery.
You are responsible for taking (or administering) your medications. A missed Nestdose reminder does not excuse a missed dose. If a dose is critical, do not rely solely on Nestdose — use additional reminders (a pill organizer, a family check-in, etc.).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StockGorilla LLC, its employees, and its contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Nestdose, including without limitation any health outcome, missed dose, or decision made in reliance on information displayed in the app.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to Nestdose will not exceed the amount you paid us (through Apple's App Store) in the twelve months preceding the claim, or ten U.S. dollars, whichever is greater.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the "Last updated" date and note the change on the Nestdose website for 60 days.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising under these terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in St. Louis County, Missouri, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
